Our Luxury Box
Quilt is similar to our other 1" Box Quilt Pads.
Actually, it's a cross between the Lite and Heavy Weight Box
Quilts, with a unique twist.... It has only one
thickness of batting, like our Lite Pads do, but what makes
the difference is a heavier weight flannel fabric underside
than we normally use to make all of our quilted pads.
With this change in the quilted construction, the pad is
thin in profile, but heavy in weight, & really does stay put
under the saddle. |

Cotton Fleece Fabric is used for the Flannel Underside of
this Saddle Pad |

We use a layer
of our heavy weight natural color 100% cotton flannel, our
Cotton Fleece fabric,
on the underside of these pads. It makes the saddle
pad super-absorbent, and also heavy in weight (pound-wise)
like our Heavy Quilts. |

This Pad
is a Good Choice for the Cushion of a Heavy Pad & Close Feel
of a Thin Pad |

With the weight of this pad
categorized as 'heavy', it stays in place under the rider's
saddle, and provides good cushioning without the loft and
bulk of heavier weight pads. The texture of the
Cotton Fleece underside
gives this pad the ability to
'grip' or mesh with the horse's coat, and stay in place
under the saddle, and gives the rider a close contact feel. |

The heavy weight
